This is a place to talk about the book on your nightstand, the one you cannot stop recommending, the one you abandoned halfway through, and the story that completely surprised you.
Bring whatever you’re reading.
There is room at the table.

The monthly selection gives us a common place to start, but the heart of Between the Glimmers is the conversation around it.
You do not have to read every club pick.
You do not have to keep up.
You do not have to apologize for being three books behind.
You are welcome to jump in whenever something sparks your interest.
The goal is connection, not completion.

No Reading Police Here
I want Between the Glimmers to feel more like sitting around a coffee table with friends than attending a very serious literary seminar.
Thoughtful conversation is always welcome.
So are ridiculous reactions.
You can analyze the symbolism.
You can also say, “I loved this because it made me happy.”
Both count.
Books give us enough rules in the form of page numbers.
The club does not need many more.
