A Little Light in Your Inbox
Some days the internet feels like standing in the middle of a room where everyone is shouting.
This is the opposite of that.
The Glimmers newsletter is a quieter little note from my corner of the world, filled with things worth noticing, reading, growing, making, cooking, or simply thinking about for a while.
No frantic posting schedule.
No manufactured urgency.
No inbox avalanche.
Just thoughtful notes from me to you.
What Might Wander Into Your Inbox
Stories & Reflections
Personal essays about life, wellness, caregiving, boundaries, aging, creativity, and finding your footing when things feel complicated.
Garden & Farm Notes
What is growing, what failed spectacularly, what I learned, and whatever the Turkey Committee has decided to supervise lately.
Books & Reading Life
What I’m reading, books worth talking about, new reviews, and happenings from Between the Glimmers.
Wellness Without the Performance
Yoga, movement, food, health, stress, and practical ways to feel better without turning your life into one giant optimization project.
Creative Rabbit Holes
Stained glass, crafts, writing, seasonal projects, and whatever shiny idea has temporarily taken over my workspace.
A Few Good Things
Links, resources, recipes, recommendations, and little discoveries that made life easier, lovelier, or more interesting.
How Often Will I Email You?
Enough to stay connected.
Not enough to make you regret giving me your address.
I’d rather send something because I have something worth sharing than fill your inbox simply because the calendar says it is newsletter day.
Some weeks may be chatty.
Some may be quieter.
The goal is always the same:
Send something that feels worth opening.
Pull Up a Chair
If this sounds like your kind of corner of the internet, I’d love to have you here.
Add your name and email below, and the next Glimmers note will find its way to you.
No spam. No selling your information. No inbox nonsense. Unsubscribe whenever you like.
A Small Rebellion Against the Algorithm
Social media can be useful, but it is not always particularly good at letting people see the things they actually asked to see.
Email is different.
When you subscribe, we get to skip the algorithmic obstacle course.
I write something.
I send it.
It arrives.
You read it whenever you want.
Very civilized.
Sometimes the Best Bits Stay in the Letter
Not everything I write needs to become a blog post.
Sometimes there is a little story, recommendation, garden observation, book thought, recipe idea, or moment that belongs in a letter instead.
Those are some of my favorite things to send.
The newsletter gets to be a little more casual.
A little more immediate.
A little more come sit at the kitchen table for a minute.
Come Find the Glimmers With Me
Life is messy.
The world is heavy sometimes.
And there is still coffee in the morning, flowers opening in the garden, books waiting on the nightstand, dogs asleep nearby, something good simmering in the kitchen, and a hundred tiny moments asking to be noticed.
That is what we are looking for here.
Not an escape from the chaos.
A little light inside it.
