Recommendations belong here because something has made my life easier, more enjoyable, more creative, or more rooted.

You do not need every tool, gadget, book, or garden accessory to build a good life.
Sometimes the best resource is the thing you already own.
But when I find something genuinely useful, this is where I’ll put it so you do not have to go digging through old posts trying to remember what I called it.
