Summer Garden Check-In: The Heat Is Real
North Florida summer has entered its “the air is soup” era, and the garden has opinions.
Some beds are thriving, some are dramatically reconsidering their life choices, and I am watering early, mulching heavily, and accepting that gardening is partly science and partly negotiating with plants that refuse to read the plan.
The bright side: there are still flowers, herbs, tiny wins, and enough green things to keep me wandering outside with coffee every morning.
